Everything t o Know

We have compiled a list of questions you may have leading up to the big day. If you have a question that wasn’t listed on here – just text Taylor or Ben!

  • Please RSVP by April 1st, 2026.

  • We kindly ask you do not take photos during the ceremony. Please keep phones away during it.

Anytime before or after the ceremony, take as many pictures and share them! We would love to see the day through your eyes.

  • Everything for the outline of the day is on the Details page!

  • The ceremony at St. John’s Catholic Church begins promptly at 2 pm. Please arrive no later than 1:30 pm so there is plenty of time for you to park (if driving), mingle and be seated.

  • Reception begins at 4:30 pm at Attaboy Barrel House. You may start arriving around 4:15 pm.

  • Church ceremonies have a standard time of being earlier in the day. With the timeline being earlier, we made the decision to add a free-time in between so the reception wouldn't be 8 hours long (that’s a long time to party for some!) – we want you to have a break to explore, take a quick nap, freshen up and be anticipated and ready to party!

  • Comfort is important to us. Wear what not only makes you feel your best, but you feel comfortable wearing!

We kindly ask you wear formal attire. Cocktail is welcomed.

No specific color requested, but it is spring and would love to see you in color and/or prints!

  • Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The reception venue does have an outside area which is encouraged to be enjoyed throughout the evening.

  • Yes, it will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception with the exception of it being limited to:

4 cocktails will be available to choose from, 4 types of wine, 5 types of Attaboy’s craft beer/seltzer on tap, and champagne.

A Non-alcoholic beer will be offered and there will be a NA version of an Aperol Spritz.

Other drinks that will be offered include Coke, Diet Coke, Ginger Ale, Cub Soda.

We do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party downtown, as drinks after the reception will not be covered

  • While we would love everyone to bring a guest, we wanted to focus on having a more intimate wedding. Plus-ones for people will be addressed on your RSVP card when formal invitations are sent out.

  • Kids will not be allowed.

  • You may book as early as you would like! Booking websites such as Expedia, offer hotels that let you reserve now and pay when you check in. There are many hotel options in Frederick so you can book closer to the date, but suggest you book by March 2026.

  • We recommend flying into BWI or Dulles. Both are an hour from Frederick.

  • We recommend Ubering or using Lyft to the ceremony if you plan on drinking right after & at the reception.

Attaboy has a large lot to park in and you may leave your car overnight for those planning to drink.

  • Downtown Frederick has plenty of parking. Multiple parking garages and street parking.

  • Absolutely, if you would like to drive to the reception venue, Attaboy has a large parking lot and allows your car to be parked overnight.

  • We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree.

There will be a three options to choose from, one being vegetarian.

All meals will start with a salad before the entrée. Entrée includes starch & vegetable accompaniment.

  • Yes, a vegetarian plated dish will be available to choose from on your invite.

  • Attaboy Barrel House is the business’s venue spot specifically for events – and where the barrels of beer are! Attaboy Beer Brewery is right next to the venue. This is a brewery you can grab different beer and cider at. They also offer food trucks! We recommend this spot when waiting for the reception to begin.
