a decade of frames

Ben & Taylor have been together since May 16th, 2015. It's hard to believe it has been 10 years already – but not really when you do life with your best friend.

So what’s each frame mean?

The frame with the suspenders is what Ben wore to Taylor’s homecoming. They have been each other’s dates for all the number of homecomings and proms – and ahem college formals.

The mountains are for when they traveled to Boone, NC together. They did horseback riding for the first time.

Palm trees are for traveling to San Diego – twice. It might be their favorite place together besides Lisbon of course.

The peanut butter and jelly frame is what Ben’s father, Tim, has been calling them since they started dating. He always says that they go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Ben snowboarded a lot in highschool and even worked at Whitetail ski resort. He was pretty pro in Taylor’s eyes – he taught her how to snowboard and she spent the entire time crying going down the slope. They still enjoy snowboarding together even though the ski lift scares Taylor.

Portugal (Porto & Lisbon) and Amsterdam are the countries they have seen together. Ben has been to Portugal three times now. Amsterdam was a first for both of them and where Ben proposed (shoutout to Tyler Roberts for being there to capture the moment).

Lastly, the graduation cap represents witnessing each other graduate high-school, college, and even Ben’s paramedic classes.
